Abstract
Nowadays most English language books are divided in their structure to the four different skills. In my thesis, I am going to prove that this division is not always necessary, because with the right use of supplementary exercises, materials, with the use of integrated skill techniques and with the mixture of right methodological theories the teacher can make the students practise three or four skills within one lesson. For the last two years, since I started teaching English both as a private teacher and as a senior student in Odessza Elementary School, I have realized that when I use supplementary materials, the lesson can be made more successful. This is what I am going justify in my thesis through examples. I also write about two basic methodological theories, which helped me to create my own teaching style. At the end of my thesis, I am going make comparison between those students with whom I used supplementary materials and those with whom I did not, and I also write a few words about the advantages and disadvantages of the technique I used.
