Abstract
In my thesis, I state that racial prejudice against African-American people still exists in the United States of America, though there were many actions taken against racism. Racial hatred is deeply planted in many white people's brains, that is why it cannot be erased from their mind for many decades. Fighting against racism seems to be an endless and hopeless war which was not at all peaceful from the whites side. Although, there are lots of people in the United States of America who are for equality and strictly condemn racial prejudice, but there are still many people who cannot accept African-American people as equals. This thesis enumerates the events of the Civil Rights Movement -mentioning Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King- and its good effects for abolishing racism and than I prove that it was a great political event but racial prejudice sill exists in the USA.
