Abstract

Beckett’s Waiting for Godot is a real challenge for its readers and audience as well. The understanding ofthe messages ofthe drama demands more intellectual efforts than usual. What is this drama about? What happens, if nothing happens? What is under the naked absurd surface? What is Beckett’s secret? My aim is to find this secret which is hidden in the duality system of the drama built up by Beckett from his own twentieth century in his poetic and absurd way.
