Abstract

In my thesis I would like to point out theatre theories leading up to the absurd and also will mention some writers and explanations of the absurd. My aim is to point out how the absurd worked as a trend in Europe and America during this century. I will try to make a comparison between the European and American way of absurd. Also I am interested in philosophical trend in the interpretation of the absurd. I tried to distinguish main drama types, too.
