Abstract
Holy healing, laying on of hands, teachings about the differences between spirit, soul and flesh(=body), teachings about the importance of the Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues were introduced to Hungary by the charismatic movement in America. In this thesis I will examine what charismatic churches teach about these things and what is the Hungarian historical churches' standpoint regarding these issues. I will prove that American charismatic churches of Hungary have more biblical views about the above mentioned practices than the Hungarian historical churches.
