Abstract
In my thesis I would like to prove that using video as teacing aid in the language classroom is not as difficult as we think. To clarify it I looked through all types of these materials and I examined also some possible methods of exploitation. Ifwe have a look at these main groups or categories we can see that they suggest as many possibilities as we can imagine. I performed also a research to emphasize differences between authentic and non-authentic materials in order to show, though both have advantages and disadvantages they can be used properly in the lesson.
