Abstract

Vocabulary reaches the classroom through four main sources : through the coursebook, through supplementary materials, through the students and through specific vocabulary activities designed hy the teachers for a particular group of students. The focus of my thesis is how efficient the different techniques are in teaching vocabulary for young learners. I will prove the visual and the verbal methods in different groups of primary shool children. Í will demonstrate with the help oftwo stage classroom observation that the usage ofvisuals are provably more effective.
