Abstract

In this thesis first I will write about importance of assessment and selecting coursebooks. Then the package used by us in our school will be examined. I will analyse the language content of the book and how the package serves improvement of skills. I want to prove that the package we chose for our learners meets our claim andcovers all the requirements prescribed by our school's syllabus. I will sum up our teaching background in a few words before summarizing pupils' answers about their textbook. Children's reflections will verify my statement that our choice was successful. With teachers' opinion I would like to persuade other English teachers that it is worth to become acquainted with "Practise Together" package.
