Abstract

This thesis examines the question of human sacrifice among the ancient Druids. I will prove that human sacrifice was not practiced by the Druids. And that the idea of these rites, described only by Roman writers, was mere Roman propaganda to support their imperial power in their invasion of Celtic lands and destruction of the Druids.
