Abstract

The aim of my thesis is to introduce the possibility and multiplicity of the application of language teaching games, and to prove how much more effective and amusing language teaching can be by the employment of game like activities. I would like to provide some patterns serving as examples for the creation of games with gathering and listing several activities. I want to convince other teachers who are afraid of teaching language games that they should apply this kind of modern technique and method because it will help their work to a great extant. In addition to the variety of literature on the subject, I have used my own experiences from Béke Primary School in Kecskemét and a research which was made among colleagues from my and other primary schools.
