Abstract

The aim of this study is to examine Shakespeare's two main tragic heros, Macbeth and Hamlet. It will also try to prove that there is a big change in their behaviour throughout the plays. I will analyse the characters and their actions. As they are unable to control the plot, they finally get destroyed. I think there are both parallelism and contrast in their tragedy. To prove my statement I will analyze the characters and their actions through a close reading of the tragedy.
