Abstract

The focus of the analysis is on one of Hemingway's short stories, entitled Hills Like White Elephants. The study will examine how Hemingway's language, its structure (syntactic and morphological), wording, lexis and levels of interpretations appear by reading the text. The primary aim of the study is to enhance our understanding of different interpretations of a specific text within the frame of discourse analysis.
