Abstract

This study should serve as an introduction into the lifestory of a great political leader, Abraham Lincoln. It consists of two chapters. The first one gives an overview of Lincoln's life from his birth until his becoming a national figure, providing extended information about the circumstances which shaped his character. In the second chapter one can observe the circumstances which created a President, and also the principles he followed, the decisions he made and his deeds in general. At the end of this chapter, one can read about the circumstances of Lincoln's death as well.
