Abstract
In my thesis I am trying to show the possibilities of using Christmas in foreign language teaching. Firstly, a review of introduction will help us to understand why Christmas is important in language teaching. Then, a summary is provided about the young children's features, followed by implications for teaching English to young learners with teaching aids. 'Applying theories into the classroom practice' will suggest to foreign language teachers how they can increase the motivation level of their students in the classroom. In the fifth section I will mention a brief historical summary about Christmas, its customs and special Christmas days. Finally, I would like to collect some activities in connection with Christmas.
