Abstract

The Olympic Games are likely to become a business concern due to the consequences of the 20th century changes. In this thesis, I will examine how private money became more essential than governmental support in the organization ofthe Games. I will prove that the Centennial Olympic Games in Atlanta were full of scandals that caught not only the spectators' eye but also the members'of the International Olympic Committee. I will demonstrate how important the sponsorship is nowadays in cases ofthe most noble sports events in the world.
