Abstract
This thesis examines the effectiveness of using audiovisual aids in the language classroom. I will prove that the emerging new technologies used in language teaching are more effective than the conventional ones. Caring out two simple researches, I will demonstrate how visual aids with or without an audio component make the comprehension easier and how they contribute to the language learning process.
