Using information from a questionnaire filled in with students of English of different ages in Békéscsaba, the general methods and the Helen Doron method, I will demonstrate that the philosophy of the Helen Doron method is a good solution for everybody, not only for young children, who is learning English as a second language to fulfill their desire of speaking. In part one I am going to go through the importance of conversation, in part two I am sketching those methods that are widely known in teaching English as a second language, in part three I am going to portray the Helen Doron method, in part four I am going to present the questionnaire filled in by elementary school students, high-school students and adult learners of English in Békéscsaba. In part five I am going to summarize the findings of the survey and write about the ability of learning a language at any age and finally in the conclusion it is shown that the Helen Doron method is a solution for the problems associated with speaking a second language.
