Abstract

This thesis examines the motivation of adolescents with the help of using pop songs in the ELT (English Language Lesson) classroom. I will support that songs can contribute to grammar and vocabulary, as well as, to improve listening, speaking, reading, writing skills, meanwhile they motivate students for language learning. To support this, I will present concrete activities, and a result of a survey made with teenagers.
