Abstract

n my thesis I dealt with the importance of vocabulary teaching. I collected the important issues of what vocabulary teaching covers and then what teaching a word includes. After it I wrote about some basic rules of vocabulary teaching. I mentioned some issues with connection of the teaching vocabulary. In the second part of my thesis I dealt with some modern vocabulary teaching techniques and with the students' developmental stages. After it I showed two exercises that my 11-year-old students did in my class and that effectiveness. In the appendix 1 collected some more tips and techniques of vocabulary teaching.
