Abstract
In this thesis I demonstrate games as a significant part of language learning and show their importance in the learning process. I will show a variety of games, which can be used effectively in the lesson. My hypothesis is that games are useful in the language classroom . I will prove that by games we can create an atmosphere, which helps and encourages students to communicate, to use the target language. I was interested in my students' opinion so I did a research on games. The answers were satisfying, as the students liked. practising English through games because they made the lesson more interesting and they thought that games have an important role in their language learning.
