Abstract
This thesis examines the teacher’s role in developing learner autonomy. I am writing about the importance of learner autonomy and the process through which it can be promoted. In the first part of the thesis I will introduce the fields of learning which are crucial to be developed during the process. Following the general part I will write about my own classroom experience. I will introduce the step-by-step process through different exercises done with a group of adult learners.
