Abstract

In this paper I am going to examine how our opportunities as European Union citizens are expanded in the field of lifelong learning and language learning. Nowadays learning and especially language learning, gets more and more importance. As the boundaries of our world are widening, our knowledge should widening in the same way. In our grandmothers' time people did not have to learn (expect to read, to write and to count), but in the 2l st century the more we know, the more successful we are. It is useful to know how our learning opportunities as EU citizens are expanded.
