Abstract

Using visuals makes language teaching and learning more efficient. In my thesis I introduced the relationship between visual education and English teaching. I examined the memory types, and the hemispheric preferences of the human mind. I delt with the term and brief history of visualization and its influences on language learning. I stressed the importance of some learning strategies which link the verbal and the visual. I collected a lot of useful visuals and I analyzed their role in English teaching. In my classroom research I proved that the most chunks of information are transferred to long-term memory through visuals.
