Abstract

The topic of my thesis is sustainable tourism in the Giant's Causeway of Northern Ireland. Based on the information from the homepage of Northern Ireland Tourist Board, recommendations of guidebooks, scientific articles and private opinions I will examine how sustainable tourism is realized in the case of the biggest tourist attraction of Northern Ireland. Using contemporary statistics and articles, I will prove that the Enterprise, Trade and Investment Ministry of Northern Ireland manage the growing number of tourists in such a way that it does not damage the environment.
