Abstract

This thesis examines the importance of Environmental Education on global and national levels and how English language teaching for primary school students can be extended in time and space through the institution of forest schools. By using sources of international importance, national educational documents, publications of local organizations and language realated exercises I will show that English language teaching has a rightful place in the interdisciplinary process of Hungarian Ernvironmental Education.
