Abstract

This paper intends to examine the importance ofNational Parks in the US as a material for elementary education. In the thesis I will emphasize the necessity of teaching environmental protection in elementary classes. Via the presentation of three National Parks I wish to introduce how these Parks can teach elementary school children (aged 6-14) about the importance of protecting nature. I will show how can a teacher use this material during English lessons in the elementary class.
