Abstract

How far are the objectives of Teaching English in an early age realized in practice and how far are the tasks and various activities suitable for the composed programme? The intention of this Thesis is to show that the principles of the theory are mostly well applied during the Practice Stage which might create a wide ground for Second Language Acquisition in later years. In the first part of my Thesis I present the characteristics of Very Young Learners parallel with Howard Gardner's Theory of Multiple Intelligences. On the basis of these theoretical principles in the second part I focus on the teacher and the suitable methodology used for this age group. Finally I recommend a course book edited considering the principles of the Theory of Multiple Intelligences and the plenty of experiences with Very Young Learners.
