Abstract

Hearing the word „symbiosis" we usually think of something connected with biology. It exactly means a harmonic association of different organism. In this case I use this term in an unusual nature. In my work I would like to introduce you a unique way of lives of border people who live in a close proximity along the U.S. - Mexican frontier. Three major national groups can be identified in this region. These are Mexicans, Mexican Americans and Anglos who take part in cultural, economic and contemporary interaction that results in a „symbiotic" way of life. They depend on each other, try to take advantages from this situation...
