Abstract

My thesis examines why and how to use blackboard drawings in order to make the foreign language teaching more effective and colourful. In my thesis I stress the importance of visual aids in the process of learning, after that I examine all the great advantages the blackboard has. Comparing blackboard drawings with other visual materials I come to the conclusion that using simple blackboard drawings is one of the most effective and economical ways in teaching foreign languages.
