Abstract
This thesis explores the notion of drama techniques in different approaches and my aim is to throw light on the importance of these techniques in teaching English. It introduces how we can build a "bridge" between the language of the classroom and the real communication of the world outside; which preparations should be made by the teachers and how they can organize dramatic activities. The thesis deals with students' moods, attitudes and feelings during the conversation and how drama can solve the problem of motivation. Some exercises are shown, which help to wipe out students' immediate worries and concerns. The research proves the importance and usage of drama techniques and positive effect of these techniques on the students' language learning.
