Abstract

This thesis examines America's Great Depression in the 1930s and FDR's New Deal program. In the following pages, I am going to prove that the New Deal did not put an end on the depression, but attacked it along three main fronts. It gave relief to the needy, stabilized the economy and prevented the country from future depressions.
