Abstract
This thesis examines the USA's significant role in the liberation of concentration camps in WW II. I will prove that despite of the USA's Government's isolationist policy in the beginning, they remarkably had a special role in liberating the camps. Using authentic and undeniable materials from several books, homepages, and newspapers, I will demonstrate that they did their best to liberate Nazi camps and to help displaced people after the war.
