Abstract
This thesis focuses on the importance of role-play activities in teaching grammar. I will prove that the role-play is an important aid in teaching English language, more precisely, in teaching English grammar. My aim is also to find out the advantages of roleplay that teachers and students consider to be of great importance. After examining the information obtained from questionnaires, I can conclude that students and teachers believe that the two most important elements of role-plays are that they bring life-like situations in the classroom and that they provide an excellent opportunity to speak more in English.
