Abstract

This thesis aims at showing some problems of Hungarian state education on the one hand and some advantages of Waldorf education on the other. First I examine the general features of the educational system in question and then I turn my attention to the more specific issue of teaching English as a foreign language. The point I want to make is that it is not only desirable but also feasible to transplant some efficient Waldorf methods into state education.
