Abstract

In my thesis, I examine the repeated elements, mainly the motifs in Shakespeare's Sonnets. I am going to examine the meaning of the motifs from the point of view of their role and their intensity. My aim is to prove that we can see a structure built upon the main and most frequent motifs around which the subordinate and background motif can be found. The repeated elements complement the meaning of each other and the structure they contribute is similar to a crystal in which almost all the elements are connected with each other.
