Abstract

In my thesis, the importance and the purpose of integrating other subjects into language teaching and the assessment of a coursebook are under discussion. The factors of age, the role of the teacher, and the characteristics of students are also taken into consideration. The following subject areas are dealt with: Literature, Music, Mathematics and Art. I am aiming to find how valuable to use a coursebook. On the other hand, I will claim that these subject areas provide good materials in general. Finally, I will give examples from the variety of exercises from the coursebook will be enclosed.
